Jenna was born and raised in Orange County, NY. Her love for animals and the outdoors began at a very young age growing up on her uncle’s dairy farm in Middletown, NY. Jenna could be found brushing down the milking cows and loving on the barn cats. Or, running wild with the family farm German Shepherds. She enjoyed watching her uncle help birth calves, medicate the cows and learning nutritional needs for them to become quality milk producers. She loved helping bottle feed the calves, making sure they had fresh bedding and helping out with all the barn chores. Jenna knew she wanted to work with and help care for animals one day.
Jenna’s veterinary career started in 2017 and she has been hooked ever since. She enrolled into the Veterinary Technician program through Penn Foster in 2019, and is working towards becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She currently has one semester left before she will be able to sit for her state exam to become licensed. You can find Jenna working along side Dr. Wiggins and Dr. Cook during your fuzzy friends exam! While she can also be found assisting Jen, our surgical technician in surgical procedures. Jenna hopes to become an LVT and continue to learn and grow her knowledge every day in the veterinary world.
