Emergency Vet - 24 Hour Animal Hospital

If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on the particular emergency.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

We provide emergency service during regular business hours (518) 300-4279

Emergency vet services are a fundamental cornerstone of our commitment to comprehensive pet care. Your pet isn't going to take "normal business hours" into consideration. Accidents do happen, and when disaster strikes, that is when you need a trained veterinary staff ready and able to help. So, we know that we've got to be ready. This is why we've partnered with the following emergency hospital in the upstate area to see our patients after hours.

For after hours emergencies, please call or take your pet to:

Upstate Veterinary Specialties - 24 hr Emergency Care

24 Hour Emergency Vet Services

If your pet has a medical emergency during your primary care veterinarian's regular office hours, we recommend first contacting him or her for a professional recommendation. If your veterinarian is not available, or requires a critical care facility, we recommend you immediately bring your pet to Upstate Veterinary Specialties 24 hour animal hospital for treatment.

If you think your pet may be sick or injured and you're not sure exactly what to do, please call us at 4 Paws Veterinary Care.
