Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we emphasize the importance of an annual physical examination and biannual exams for senior pets.  Thorough checkups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems.  We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Boarding:  Client options include traditional, comfort and luxury boarding.  Luxury choice includes "bar-free" boarding for cats and oversized indoor/outdoor runs for dogs.  Each dog run has a patio door that leads to a separate individual outdoor exercise space.  Dogs are walked minimum of six to seven times daily.  The cat ward has extensive sound proofing to help decrease the stress that can be associated with unfamiliar noise.  Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday and by appointment on Sunday.

Grooming/Bathing:  Routine, therapeutic, and breed-specific grooming as well as simple bathing services are available.

Laser Therapy:  Our advanced laser therapy provides a painless, quick, noninvasive and economical means to aid in healing many wounds and injuries for any age pet and helps to offer improved quality of life for our senior, arthritic patients.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  

Advanced Allergy Evaluation:  A particular area of interest and special focus for the team at 4 Paws Animal Hospital is the relationship between allergies, ears and skin, and systemic disease.  By focusing on underlying allergies, we can help eliminate many serious medical problems and overall systemic illnesses.

iVET food:  This is a maintenance food for various life stages for dogs and cats.  This super premium food is well known for its all-natural ingredients, great taste and reasonable price.  Each pet gets the first bag free!  

Laser Surgery:  Many surgeries can be performed using laser surgery providing decreased pain, less bleeding, shorter anesthesia time, and a less stressful recovery than with traditional surgical techniques.

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.  There is a board-certified surgeon that comes to our hospital to perform specialty procedures.  By having him come here, there is a significant cost savings to the client without compromising quality of care.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures including routine spays and neuters.

Ultrasounds and Endoscopic Procedures:  We offer internal medicine consultations on-site with a board-certified specialist by advanced appointment.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, state of the art digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders with minimal stress to your pet.

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists that are only minutes from our hospital.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning (prophy) and polishing, dental extractions and minor oral surgery.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification to help lost pets reunite with owners quickly.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.  For more complicated cases, we will refer to a board-certified behaviorist.
